Threats to the Bonobo

In recent years the Bonobo has become the victim of human exploitation in the Congo. There are several interlocking situations that have negative effects on Bonobos, whether directly or indirectly. These include; Logging and Deforestation, the Bushmeat Trade, the Political Situation in the Congo, the Local People's source of income, and the Pet Trade.
